Current Market Situation:

• DDR4 Memory: Prices have surged by double-digits month-over-month, nearly tripling in two months in some cases, due to AI demand and a manufacturing shift away from DDR4.

• High-Capacity HDDs: Lead times from major OEMs now exceed 12 months, accompanied by price hikes, as cold storage demand continues to outpace production.

• Enterprise-grade DDR5 memory prices have risen due to supply-demand imbalances, with some manufacturers redirecting resources towards HBM high-bandwidth memory production. 

The increase is projected to reach 8%-13% by the fourth quarter of 2025, rising to 13%-18% overall when including HBM.

Our Recommendation:

To secure current pricing and avoid future delays, we strongly recommend placing your orders for critical IT components (Server/ Ram/HDD...) as soon as possible. Early commitment is the most effective way to mitigate impact.
